About RAY-O-LITE SOUTHEAST LLC

Ray-O-Lite Southeast, LLC was founded in 1949. The company began manufacturing translucent fiberglass awnings for post-war homes. These GI Bill homes typically had very little roof overhang and no air conditioning. The addition of the Ray-O-Lite Awnings allowed homeowners to raise their windows for airflow and protected them from blowing rain. These translucent awnings allowed rays of light to pass through them but filtered out the heat of the sun. Thus Ray-O-Lite Awnings was born. Today we serve General Contractors, developers and property management companies all over the United States. Ray-O-Lite Southeast, LLC fabricates and installs overhead and post supported dock canopies, entry canopies, standing seam metal awnings and ACM (Aluminum Composite Material) which is used on many of our canopies for fascia and wall accents.
